Discount available to SBE Members
The Society of Broadcast Engineers has arranged a discount for members of the SBE on registration for the 2014 NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 5-10. If you or your employer is not a member of the NAB, you can register for the conference at $100 off the non-NAB member rate.
Register at the NAB show website. Use the special SBE code, EP06 in the appropriate field when completing your registration. The same code may also be used to get a free exhibits-only registration.
Process to register for free Exhibits-Only credentials for the 2014 NAB Show
*Note you must do this before Friday, March 21st
If you’ve tried to register for an exhibits-only pass to the 2014 NAB Show, you may have found it difficult to navigate their registration pages to find out how and where to do it. Follow the path below and you’ll be able to register.
Go to NABShow.com
Click on Registration/Book Hotel
Click on Registration
Enter your name, company and email address in the fields that appear on the right side of the page that opens, and click “Continue”.
The Registration Options page opens. Scroll down and click on “Exhibits Only (Session 3-Pack)” even though you aren’t interested in the $150 package that includes access to three sessions and exhibits.
More information drops down. Click the “Add” button opposite the appropriate member or status category for you; for example, “Non-member”. Don’t worry that it has a price of $150. We’ll get rid of that in a few seconds.
Scroll up that same page and find the “Shopping Cart” box and click “Next”.
A box will open to enter a promotional code. Enter EP06 (0 is a zero), which is the SBE partner code for the 2014 NAB Show. Then click on “Apply”.
It may take up to ten seconds to process, but the system lowers your $150 price to $0. Note that the three sessions offered in the registration package are not included with the free exhibits-only pass.
Complete the rest of the registration form.
