The annual Society of Broadcast Engineers National Meeting will be held in Columbus on Sept. 27-28, 2023, in conjunction with the Midwest Broadcast & Multimedia Technology Conference, presented by The Ohio Association of Broadcasters in cooperation with the broadcast associations of Indiana, Kentucky and Michigan. SBE members from the region and across the country are invited to attend. The SBE national Meeting includes the SBE Annual Membership Meeting and annual SBE National Awards Reception and Dinner. Program details are below. Admission to the SBE National Meeting requires registration to the MBMTC. (all times are Eastern Time.)

Awards Dinner Keynote Speaker:
Drew started with The Bob & Tom Show at WFBQ in August of 1987. In late 1994 he was appointed Network Coordinator of the newly formed Bob & Tom Show Radio Network that debuted in January 1995. In 2012, Drew was named operations manager of the network and in 2022, he was named general manager of The Bob & Tom Show Radio Network overseeing the business and operations of the Westwood One-syndicated morning show. The Bob & Tom Show originates from flagship station WFBQ-FM in Indianapolis and heard coast to coast on more than 100 terrestrial stations, and worldwide on the American Forces Radio Network and BobandTom.com. |
From Pendleton, IN, Drew started his radio career at Pendleton Heights High School’s WEEM-FM in August 1977. In late 1978, he was hired as a part-timer at WLHN-FM/WHUT-AM in Anderson, IN. During his college years, Drew worked at radio stations in and around Anderson and Muncie, IN, building a foundation of experience and learning the craft that later would be his career.SBE Schedule
