Overview

The AoIP webinar series begins with a review of IP networking fundamentals found in and required by an IP network infrastructure supporting real-time media content. A deeper review will look at the hardware typically required by a media content network, the specific use of VLANs to create a segmented network, the implementation of multicast in a LAN environment, and quality of service (QoS) practices to insure quality of experience (QoE) performance. The goal of this webinar is to provide an IP networking technology foundation for the build of an AoIP network regardless of the specific AoIP technology standard deployed.
