Overview

As both radio and television broadcast engineers are expected to do more with less, being pro-active with respect to maintaining your transmitter and studio sites will guard against disasters. This is especially true when preparing your site for the summertime, after winter has taken its toll.

Drawing from his experience as a chief engineer, and in writing Radio World’s popular Workbench column, John Bisset leads engineers through a series of inspections and tasks to prepare your site for warmer weather. Along the way, he offers some engineering nuggets to improve maintenance efficiency as well.

What Previous Participants Thought

“The kinds of knowledge and tips shared in this two-hour webinar would take years to collect through practical on-the-job experience and advice acquired from more experienced colleagues. Many thanks to BSW for their generous sponsorship.” – Robert Fehr, CBRE

“Thanks to the SBE, John Bisset, and BSW for providing the ‘Springtime Maintenance to Keep You on the Air’ webinar. John presented many useful maintenance tips (and relayed those from fellow attendees) as well as jogged the memory for maintenance items that may have been neglected so they can be added to the check list.” – Scott Stremiecki, CBNT
