Tower Design Standard ANSI/TIA-222 H

Originally streamed Feb 18, 2021

The objective of this session is to introduce ANSI/TIA-222, revision H, “Structural Standard for Antenna Supporting Structures, Antennas, and Small Wind Turbine Support Structures” as the recognized design standard for tower structures and antennas.  The Standard provides recognized literature for antenna supporting structures and antennas pertaining to minimum load requirements and design criteria and can be used for the design of structural modifications and addresses maintenance requirements for towers.  Guyed towers, prevalent in the broadcast industry and some of the tallest structures in the world, are designed to the ANSI/TIA-222-H Standard.  Attendees will receive an overview of the Standard including loading, analysis, design, manufacturing, foundations, modification, and maintenance/condition assessment requirements.
